A SellerBay reselling guide
How to start an online resale shop with SellerBay
Create a focused resale shop, add free product drafts, set your prices and understand guest checkout, fulfillment, earnings and manual withdrawals.
Start a resale shop with a collection you can explain clearly and prices you understand. SellerBay provides the storefront and order workflow; you decide which products to offer, how to describe them and what to charge. Preparing a shop does not require buying every product in advance.
You can prepare your SellerBay shop and product drafts now. Product card checkout is unavailable until the live payment connection is enabled.
Choose the storefront that fits your needs
Premium is the single membership. It includes all available tools, with shop features covering a SellerBay link, custom domain and branded Discord bot as those features become available.
Use a SellerBay link if you want to start without connecting a domain. A custom domain needs registration and renewal with your registrar; the Premium connection provides shop routing and hosting, not ownership of the domain name.
Give the collection a clear identity
In My shop, choose a name and a unique shop link. Write a short description that tells visitors what they can find. A focused collection gives a new visitor a clear reason to browse.
New shops start closed so you can prepare them privately. In the design editor, choose a layout, edit the introduction and arrange the sections. Keep the most useful information near the products. Check the phone preview: headings should be readable, product photos should make sense at a small size and long introductions should not hide the collection.
Keep the shop link stable once you begin sharing it. Changing the link changes the address customers need to use. Your public storefront is separate from other owners’ collections, and SellerBay does not publish a directory of competing shops.
Add drafts, then choose what to publish
Choose a priced item from the Supplier catalog and select Add to my shop. It becomes a free, unlisted draft. You have not purchased inventory or reserved supplier stock. If the original price is missing, use Get a quote and follow the item in your Quote queue.
Listing Creator can prepare editable copy using the catalog details. Review the title, description and photos before publishing. Remove claims you cannot support, and check sizing, materials and the selected variation. AI can help write a description; it does not verify the supplier’s claims.
Set your own retail price and read the earnings estimate. Consider delivery and applicable fees as well as the supplier item cost. Keep unfinished products unlisted. When your collection is ready and at least one listing is active, open the shop and review the public page.
Understand what the customer pays for
Visitors can buy eligible products without a SellerBay membership or account. They select the options and quantity, enter contact and delivery details, and review the item total, delivery charge and tax before proceeding to secure card checkout through Stripe.
Priced products can enter checkout with delivery calculated from a product rate or the delivery policy for the destination and quantity. Explicitly unavailable products cannot be bought. The buyer reviews a fixed total before payment. SellerBay verifies the payment before treating an order as paid; returning from the payment page alone does not prove a successful payment.
The paid order funds the supplier purchase. You do not need to preload a wallet to add catalog items. Product payments are separate from your membership, and a buyer can optionally save a guest purchase to an account afterward.
Follow fulfillment and keep problems with the order
SellerBay’s buying team reviews paid orders and places supplier purchases. This is a team-managed process, not an automatic purchase from every supplier. Your Orders tab keeps the recorded purchase, shipping and delivery stages together.
If an item is unavailable or there is a delivery problem, use the order conversation and include the relevant details or photos. The team checks the purchase and shipping state before deciding the next step. Refund requests require review, and refunds are currently handled through the payment provider by the team.
Avoid promising a specific refund outcome or delivery date that has not been confirmed for the order. Clear product information and timely replies are parts of the shop experience you can control.
Separate a sale from money ready to withdraw
Your wallet is an earnings record. A customer payment does not immediately become available cash. Earnings wait for delivery and final cost verification before release, and refunds or reversals can change the balance later.
When earnings are available, submit a withdrawal request from the Earnings tab. The amount is reserved while the team prepares a transfer quote. Review the fee and net amount, accept the quote if you want to proceed, and follow its status until the team records the completed manual transfer.
PayPal and supported crypto withdrawals are separate from customer product checkout. Check the destination carefully and use the network specified in the form for a crypto payout. Combining earnings into fewer withdrawals can reduce the effect of fixed transfer costs.
